LogiTech makes mouses, keyboards, and various other input devices for computers. Based on a recent experience with them, I would highly recommend this manufacturer to others.
Background Story:
I purchased a V270 Bluetooth wireless mouse with my laptop. A few months ago, I it started occasionally interpreting single-clicks as double-clicks. I called LogiTech, and the representative there told me it was still under warranty (the device was less than 2 years old). They would ship me a free replacement via UPS.
Since they no longer made the V270, the rep. asked me how much I paid for it ($30-40), and told me he could send me a V470 Bluetooth Notebook Mouse. I asked him how big it was, and mentioned that I preferred larger desktop mouses over the smaller notebook mouses. After looking for the dimensions of both products (and being unable to locate them), he offered to ship me a M555B Bluetooth mouse. He said that this model was a little more expensive, but that he felt uncomfortable sending me a mouse marked as "notebook" because of my initial comments. I thought this was a great example of textbook customer service, by understanding my wants and needs, and finding what worked for me.
Even though company lost a few extra bucks sending me a more expensive mouse, I will most definitely purchase a LogiTech device over other brands in the future. That's how you win customer loyalty.
